Company's like Jamsport and Longmans do Throttle Body kits for Saxos.

Also have a look on www.gmcmotorsport.co.uk for more info

I believe its a waste of time on a VTR though.

why is it a waste of time on a vtr?

The amount of money you'll spend on them to see relavtively small increase in power.

Throttle bodies also need to be complimented with other mods (manifold, exhaust, cams etc) I dont know if you have these or not but its all one big package.

yer your money would go a lot further with a turbo or a supercharger mate!

well i have piper cams, ecu remapped, bmc induction kit, 4-2-1 maniford, full system so you dont think they would be worth it on this setup?

I'd not bother myself, though I'd chat to QEP and see what they think, some headwork would be needed first and QEP are very good on the 8 valve

it max be worth is but for the £1000 up your gonna pay for bodies then 450 for a remap you may see 145bhp/150bhp at the fly but with a turbo you will be looking at over 200bhp.

Are we still talking about VTR engines Spencer?
  11. #11
yes mate. alvtr had 170 at the wheels from his vtr turbo!
  12. #12
well my vtr is 148bhp atm, but i will have a look around
  13. #13
Those aren't bad specs I was only aiming for 160bhp out of vts, I should have stuck with my vtr .
