clutch.

    a no this shudnt b in here but no1 talks to ya on any other ones.
    i need a new clutch. im going to buy the clutch, how much is it 2 have one fitted.
    i asked me mates uncle but he said its an engine out job. is this true?

    Dont use text talk and this is in the wrong section but.......

    My clutch cost £65 to buy and im having it fitted for £80. The guy is actually off here and a top bloke for doing it at that price aswell.

    It is expensive if you get it done at a garage but it has to be paid sometimes.

    go to a local garage and ask them for a price.

    you didn't say what kind of clutch, a replacement stock one, or an uprated one ?

    no the engine doesnt need to come out

    id expect to pay about about 150 all in

    Thats cheap, my mate works for peugeot and they want around £300!

    i used to fit clutches all day long oh how fun

    and it was no were near 300 for a mondeo clutch which are pain in arse and saxos are really easy

    id say 175 at most for a saxo clutch as all areas of country are diffrent labour charges

    it cost me £140 with labour the bloke who dun mine dident take the engine out like a think boz is selling a ap racing clucth or something on here gud luck

    a live near derby and notts mate.
    1 of mates reckons that his mate will do it for 80 quid for me. so a think im guna go for that option. sounds easier

    citroen wanted £209 just for the clutch parts without fittinh i didnt ask how much it was fitted because i'm a mechanic, anyway i bought myelf an EBC Clutch for £70 and gona fit it myself in the next few weeks
