gonna possibly get Borbet Es 15inch, and am gonna lower my saxo 40mm, Id like them wide but dont want them 2 rub. what sort of profile tryers would go well? want looks and peformance really.
will read up on offset now

195-55 is the usual mate. iwouldn wory to much about offset along as they have saxo fitment for your car and whether you need spacers or not

You need to keep the PCD at 108x4. You can change this but its expencive, ruins the handling, yadayadayada so forget that

yes keep the profle low on the tyres looks far better! make sure you buy them off someone who knows what they are talking about aswel or has had them previously fitted to their car so you can see what they have done.
