engine dying at 6k in third

   it first happen when i was at pod a couple of weeks ago when i am in third at full throttle and i get to 6k my engine dies then i put it into 4 th and it starts to die again but at less revs. would it be something to do with the fuel or running to rich

   Were did you get the engine work carried out, couldnt you contact them?

   no dont think its the nos mate lol. the garage just told me to bring it in for them to have a look but thought that one of you boys might no what the problem is. when it happens its just like some one has taken the key out and then it sometimes picks bac up just seems really strange coz it doesnt happen in 2 nd

   could be a number of things, but most common are coil pack or fuel filter
