behind drivers sear soakin

   my mate has just joined the saxo crew lol and has noticed the rear passengers footwell behind the drivers seat is soakin...what could this be?
   a leak?
   where from?

   tell him to check by the drivers footwell mate cause i got the same problem. the footwell behind drivers seat was soaking and now the drivers footwell is, had the front wheel off, cudnt find anything. i also took off wiper blades, motor and rubber sheilds etc and sealed it all up (mastik under windshield and also in any gaps) and leaked stopped.

   it could be leaking from the sun roof.
   there is a drainage pipe that runs next to the sunroof for the water drainage from the roof. this is a common fault.
   check the pipe as it could have leaked from there

   theres also little gromits under the sound deadening if one of them has gone water will be getting absorbed by the sound deadening and soaking the carpet
   
   just another thing to check

   just go round the car and check all seals, also check aerial, get a hose and get your mate to hose the car over whilst your inside and see were its coming in

   when i had a clio, i dunno how the water got into it, but sumhow water was getting into the sills on the side lol and soaking in, was welll wet in there and when u put the breaks on cud hear the water swilling about,so i parked on a hill and drilled a tiny hole in the sill lol and it all came pouring out, lol problem solved..
   
   HOWEVER I DONT RECOMEND DOING THAT

    do all saxos have this? my 1.1 always gets water logged sunroof after giving her a good scrub... I have slight rust line all around the metal on the sunroof because of this .

    i need this sorting asap because its evaporating then condencing and taking ages to de mist and wipe down!

    got any pics? door seal? lol its bad found big puddle under my matt in back passenger wel!
