#2That kit will lower the car 40mm all round.

#3Just the front, because its a torsion bar on the rear of your car mate. There'll be 2 front shockers, 2 rear shockers, and 2 lowering springs (for the front)

#5so il be paying 180quid for the kit and it will only lower the front and then id have to pay more to get the torsion bar done? is there any way of lowering without adjusting the torsion bar?
-
#6You could just buy the 40mm springs for about £50 and have the rear adjusted to suit, keeping all the standard shocks.
You will lose alot of the ride comfort though and it wont handle as well as it would with uprated shocks.
If money is an issue though you might consider just doing it on springs for a while untill you have the cash for the rest of the kit or untill you get fed up of bumpy roads
EDIT: I wouldnt go any lower than 40mm on standard shocks either. There are probably people on here who have gone lower and still claim its fine but untill tomorrow, im down 60mm front and 80mm rear and its no fun AT ALL. Cant wait to get a full kit on so i can enjoy driving again! -

#10Coshy, pm damo mate... he knows a company in Hartley Wintney (not too far away) that will fit springs and lower the torsion bar to match for £120 which is a pretty competitive price :Y: i'll have to get mine down there...
