Lowering on 17's

  1. #1
Ok guys, the time has come, i'm sick of looking at my saxo on 17's unlowered, How low can i go on 17's? the arschers are already out but no lips have been ground away yet (been told i'll need to do this when i lower it)...

How low can i go? Dont want anything stupid low just sat nice!

Anyone got ebay links of best suspension kit to go for and how much u reckon for fitting, i've given up my hobby of marine fish (great barrier reef), sold the tank last night for £600, so thats what i have to play with, but would like to keep some back as my car has a slight ripple in the offisde wing from when i bought (someone has sat on it i think) and thats got to be changed too!

So what i wanna know is, what will i have to grind away and where?

How much for the kit? Link please

How much (roughly) for fitting it?

and the lowest i can go ?

Any help would be great guys... cheers!

Car is sat on 205/40/17's at the mo, and rubs on the back already with 2 in!

Rarely have 2 in though so who cares!

Very low I'd guess. GSMotorsports AVO kit will be the one to look at for your application. No point in going for billis etc as its not going to handle anyway.

AVO coilovers would be cool if you don't mind blowing the budget
