#2Bp ultimate is where its at dude!
(not that i work for them or anything..) -
#3I only use BP Ultimate and the new one at Shell garages.
I know it makes no difference at all but I like wasting money. It can only be doing goodfor the car! -
#4same here rushy,lol
-
#5Bp fuel is a luxury for me being a student, let alone the ultimate!
Normally run it on the tesco or morrisons shit -
#6i dont see it making any improvment unless the car is mapped to use that and a standard saxo ecu isnt
-
#7What octane do you recommend for use? I know Sainsburys and Tescos standard is 95octane. Sainsburys Super Unleaded is 97 octance, and Tescos Premium Unleaded is 99Octance. So what's the most efficent?

#9The engine (or ECU) is mapped to run RON 95 and RON 97... anymore and you'll be wasting your time.
some of the fuels contain extra additives but you dont need these in your tank everytime you run it... a cheaper and better method would be buy an additive mix, REDEX, MILLERS etc and then you can keep tabs how much cleaner is going through the system. -
#10Mine only uses V power or Tesco 99 RON, it was mapped on 99RON though.
Detergents in fuels are A VERY GOOD THING as they clean and protect. REDEX, Millers etc can and will damage the cylinder bores as they are too corrosive.
Stick a tank of V power through once a month if you like, EVO found it had the best cleaner in it. On a standard VTR you aren't really going to be getting the fuel too close to detonation point -
#11I find the car goes better when there petrol in the tank

#12so if when i get my car remap due to the cam etc it has BP ultimate in. I can tell myself the car does actually need it? lol
