Group N style exhausts

In ref to the thread started last week about the PugSport S/S exhaust, I think its fair to say it won't fit the saxo with out quite abit of work and on a expensive item like that it seems a shame to cut it about.

    So,

What are the other options? Is the OMP exhaust is the nearest thing to the PugSport exhaust?

Im lookin to change from my Janspeed to a more motorsporty exhaust, small tailpipe but with a good sound but bad new I want to keep me Janspeed Sports Cat.

So do I get the OMP and have it cut to fit my cat or just have a custom exhaust with no centre box and just a back box with a small 2" or 2.5" tailpipe?

    What do you guys think?

OMPs are meant to be good. Ashleys are also loud as fuck and give good power

Glad you asked this my friend I've had an ashley system before the quality was pretty poor though.

both OMP and Ashleys are poorly made, makes them light though. THe BTB is very, very well made, weighs over twice as much as the ashley (well, seemed to at least!!)

I don't think the ashley will give the right sound either to be honest, Ive had ashley's on fords in the past and they just give the same note as most of the other mild steel performance exhausts.

If ets2k9 has in mind the same as what Im lookin for is a more raspy, pop'n'bang 'race' style exhaust rather than the normal deep throaty and boomy 'street performance' exhausts.

    Am I right ets2k9?

im telling ya why wont anyone listen to me! get the supersprint centre section off ebay. its fcukin awsome! such a great gain! it burbles when on tickover and going through town but when you open the sax up beleive me she fcukin sings! raspy as you like and backfires like a b*tch! best thing iv bought for my saxo by far!

How do you know it gives a good gain though?

In regards to the Ashley comp system they look pretty rough...

You can feel the gain mate. i cant describe it. it pulls right upto the limiter and is a lot lot smoother and the sound alone makes you jizz! lol

    erm 1st whats a BTB?

To be fair the centre section is not in doubt, as its more the complete system includin the back box, as I could have a straight through system with a huge open can with not much baffles in it which would make a lawn mower sound like an RSturbo, but thats not what Im lookin for.

What back box you usin with the supersprint exhaust?

The BTB is PROBABLY the best Saxo exhaust availible they are about to be discontinued (I think they have been buts there some small amounts of stock left so 2nd hand is the only real option).

The downside to this exhaust is its £500+.
