GMAX are officially the Donnay of modding your car; along with Ripspeed...

I'd suggest to also uprate your shocks/dampers if going down anymore than 40mm so that's knocked your budget right out of the window. Hehe!

Did you want to go down 55mm? Why not go down 40mm? And you should be able to find lowering springs for around the same price.

lol tbh my mate found them for me i dont want to spend too much on them cos i want to buy other things, wont be buying them then i hate donnay haha! 40 mm would probably be best off but i dont know what im looking at if im honest lol

like i know what the drop means ect just dont know what im looking at when buying quality if you get what im saying lol

There are sooo many manufacturers out there... It can be quite difficult to choose between them. What will you be using the car for? Daily road or track use?

I myself have a Spax set-up and haven't had any problems. They're reasonably priced too. PI are good. I also haven't heard too many good things about Gmax. Bilstein are also good but they're more performance springs so can be a little more expensive than the likes of Spax, etc... If you want, speak to Gaz (G.S.Motorsport - Sax-p partner) as he'll be able to give you some advice and maybe sort you a good price.

Cheers dude, il have a look around and probe the market then make my choice when i have a better idea, help much appreciated, the cars for general road use, cheers, Jmevtr

General road use... So you don't need any custom performance springs. Spax should do you fine mate. And remember... the lower you go, the harder the ride (basically) so on daily journeys, the ride can get a little uncomfortable. Mine's down 60mm. Yes the ride is hard but I'm used to it now.
