Front Lights

   Hi Guys,
   
   Have just bought the Piaa Chrome Mirror White bulbs for my VTR...anyone else got them or seen them?
   
   Not fitted them yet but have heard they are really good.
   
   Any info or thoughts would be great

   Just an update.
   
   Have fitted the new lights to my car and they've made a huge difference. See link below for picture:
   
   
   
   The pic is a comparison of the new bulb and a "50% brighter high vision bulb" available from a certain large UK store begining with Ha. The light on the left is from the Piaa Chrome Mirror White bulb and the one on the right the above mentioned one.
   
   Let me know your thoughts. Personally, although prob not as good as the HID conversion its a cheaper alternative and makes a good difference.

   I'm lost, this is a headlight bulb yeah? and the one on the left is the new one and the right the standard?

   lol, sorry for the confusion. The one on the left is the piaa bulb (new one) and the right is pretty much a standard one, but its one from Halfords that are being sold as the High Brightness 50% brighter bulbs. Which to be honest, they aren't any better than the standard ones I had in.

   Ewww yuk. I hated that egg light effect with my old standard headlight bulbs.

   Should have been 70 but got em for 50. At the end of the day its cheaper than the 400-500 HID conversion quotes i've been given and they still give pretty much the same effect.
   
   Been driving with them this weekend and they actually make a big difference. Just need to change my sidelights now which are standards and look crap along side the new ones Think the side bulbs are about 10.

   Didn't really notice anything until I changed them but driving with the new bulbs makes the standards look really bad. Was going to get the slighter blue tinted ones but wasn't sure how blue they could be until they weren't legal so opted for the ones i've got now. Either way I like em.

    Some "blue tinted" bulbs are illegal for road use... Always check the packaging so you have something to back you up if you were to be pulled over.

    Thanks for the advice on that. I frequently get pulled for some reason or other, which I think, and i'm sure other people will agree is a stigma attached to the "Saxo Driver" lol

    Yes it is... But the main thing is that if you're not doing or haven't done anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about. If you co-operate with them, they'll co-operate with you.

    Deffo agree on that, unless its them in the wrong. An example being a police car running into me, stopping and reversing into another car at speed whilst I was sat in a queue of traffic waitin for the lights to change. Needless to say I got breathalises and given a producer because obviously I was in the wrong for sitting there not moving and to blame for him driving into me and the other car.
