smoothed boot-where to put reg plate and how

  1. #1
as above, smoothed boot is in the progress of been done and cant figure out the following:-
where to put the reg plate?
how to mount the reg plate as i dont really want to drill into the bumper?
    how to light it?
    Square or rectangular?

    any help would be appretiated

At the minute mines rectangular with the light underneath so you cant really see it.but will be getting it recessd soon

make a custom recess, you wil hav to cut a hole in your back bumper, make a supposrt for it to sit on,i used to citroen ax number plate lights for mine wired them into the tail light so when you switch lights on funny enough the number plate lights come on hey presto relocated number plate, rectangle number plate not very keen on square

get a rear bumper that caters for rectangular number plate, look good

And it would look poo because the arches wouldn't line up

I'd get a body shop just to cut a slight recess out just below the top lip of the bumper and use some bolt lights to fix the plate which you can buy off egay for about a fiver. They screw in but shine light onto the plate from the side of the bolt. One each side, sorted!

go to the scrappy mate and just look at the rears of cars. doesnt matter what car it is because all that you want is a recess. get the bumper or whatever and then take it to the bodyshop, get them to cut it out and sink it into your bumper.
