my cars was ment to be superchipped buy previous owner is there any easy ways to tell if it has. just feels a bit sluggish low revs great after 3k.
its a 97 vts

all a superchip does is alter the ignition and fuelling and raise the rev limit. there is no 'setting up' of a superchip, it's mapped on one car then they copy the map onto chips and knock them out for 250+. they're bullshit basically.

superchips only advance the ignition timing. only raise RPM limit on single plugs aswell.

it does rev to over 7200 where is destek ?

if it's on standard cam and ecu then the limit is 7200rpm and your rev counter is out.
