interior neons

   my mates said to wire the neons to the live on my cig lighther then on to a switch is this a good way?! its for two red footwell neons cheers!

   yeah thats a good way to power them just remember to put a switch on them otherwise they will always be on

   I done mine to the power on my cd player as my cig lighter plays up alot. Just put a switch in on one of the blank switches by the centre heater. Easy enough to do and looks smart.

   I did this with my old car - Focus, i installed two UV neons in the footwell..
   I wired them up to the light at the back of the cig lighter, and put a switch on the dash, so when i turned on my lights at night.. my neons came on to, plus i had a switch to turn them off aswell.. Looks really good too

   you can do this, or you can tap into the looms which serve your cig lighter from behind the console, - the backlighing - just be very careful that you don't short them - because you'll lose some of you backlighting, and your horn (they're on same fuse circut!)
