K & N Induction Kits

   3 weeks back i bought a induction kit for my VTR, it came with a black hose (feed) and a rubber scoop which attaches to the hose (jubilee clip) and then bolts to the under side of the front bumper...
   
   Its like a shovel type thing, obviously this brings in the cold air..
   
   Now stripped my old air filter system off, wondering wether its worth using the feed from the standard filter (comes from grill) or sticking with the one supplied with the KnN, or both?
   
   Opinions please!!!

   Wrong section. I would use the one that came with it though

   Seems a lot of hose to it tho, and travels all the way up past a very warm engine before dispusring the air??

   keep standard pipe mate, its better poitioned as well! although you should have got yourself an enclosed kit if you wanted performance, as the open ones are pretty pap tbh lol!
