Tinting my Windows

I'm going to tint my back 3 windows tomorrw, but just want to check how to do it

do you just squirt water onto the back window, stick the tint off, then use a sponge and rub down the tint? getting rid of the water and sticking the tint down properly at the same time?

    cheers

get sum fairy liquid and water mixed into a spray bottle(when you apply tint you can slide it alot easier, water will just crease cause a line and fuck up your tint) for the back window:cut roughly the size of the windows leave an inch at top bottom and sides, horizontally you are going to have to cut tint as this needs to be done in 3 strips(if you do it in 1 you will see a big big bubble appear in the tint as the glas is curved)for example if your saxo window is 200mm high you need to divide it into 3section by marking 2lines on the tint carefully and cut with a sharp knife on the 2lines so you are left with 3 bits of tint(i with the boot open started at the bottom found it easier!) getting the tint apart from the clear protective backing is another thread to start lol the side sindows undo the 3 torx screws on each window take them into your living room or garage whatever you have(but remember u have to tint at above 10 degrees) the cold wil make it shit to do! when you have the backing off get a mate to hold 1 end, spray your water/fairy liquid mix onto the glass and a sprinkle on the tint, start from bottom to top with a credit card(cover credit car with sumfin soft so it dosnt mark the tint)dont be to rough but take the water trapped underneath tint out with the credit card when you are happy there is no water and bubbles take a hairdryer and do the section that is perfect(so then bubbles dont reappear) any problems pm me and i will go on msn and give you a helping hand iv tinted loads of cars

    cheers mate

just one other thing, i'm using them laser cut ones, where they are already cut to the shape of the car, so i still need to cut the back window into 3?

and can you see the joins badly if you do?

    Rep given tho, cheers

if you are buying precut tint it should already come in 3 strips for the back window?i would recommend putting into 3strips for back window it can be done but if you havnt done it before i wouldnt try it m8,its very very difficuly wudnt want you wasting your tint! try and use the straight edges for the joins which will roughly be in the middle of the rear window its quite a job to do if you havnt done it before to be honest, but i learnt it myself bought loads of tint off ebay fukd up a few times then got the hang of it you cant see the joins you get realyl fussy with it and take your time,i havnt used the precut tint before but i heard its still over the size of the glass and still neds cut but that was from sum1 i know that bought it from demon tweeks, good luck with it mate just take your time, bubbles and lines will reappear just persivere and you will make a good job of it
