Its hard to say how much of an increase u wud get as every car is different, but GMC recomend green enclosed air filter and not the viper!!

Wel obviously every car needs an exhaust, lol

But if u mean a sports exhaust then no u dont need a sports exhaust to get a filter!

thats wot i heard aswel, gmc has a proven test ona vts of 10 for a green enclosed!!

Well, that was an estimate on the PiperX for all of the cars, it might b different on the Saxo, rememeber that Deano

yer mate i know wot ur sayin, but the green filter was on a VTS! So the difference shudnt b 2much from that to a vtr!!

i've got a viper and mi m8 runs a green enclosed and we both used to run full magnex systems with de-cat pipes and at a rolling road day he got 111 bhp from his 90 horse engine and i got 112 bhp from mi 90 horse engine so read in to that what u want but i would say there evenly matched.

I had a K&N 57i on my VTR and noticed a sml gain in power but mainly in noise, a nice roar mid to high revs, i now have a viper too and have noticed yet more of a gain in power, how much though i wouldn`t be able to say. If ya wanna start off with a cheap induction kit then i`m actually selling my 57i for £65 it was only on my car for a couple of months before i found out that i could get a viper brand new for £40 so i bit my mates hand off!! You dont need to change your exhaust either altough if ya can, it`ll mean an xtre few bhp on to again

will be best to vhange your complete exhaust but nothing will go wrong if you don't change it.

viper pipercross air filter claim to add around 7bhp-10bhp ,depending on the condtion of ur engine

bull shit, the claims they make are all based on uppin the fueling aswell, there is next to no power gains to be made from just fitting one you just make a very lean running engine, which can cause all kinds of problems,i recomend the bmc carbox box enclosed and the mf2 fueling upgrade avalible on gmc mororsports site, check it out it cost bout 200quid but allows you to play about with the fueling, get it on a rolling road and set it up properly and you could get some healthy gains. hope im some help
