mk1 vtr manifold HELP

  1. #1
Hi i got a hole in my manifold right next to the join to the exhaust, only a little one, and my cars revs have been going up and down a bit lately.
On cold mornings when the engines cold, it will often run for a bit then cut out.... Anyone help please??? Could this be to do with the manifold....

Also, because of this hole on my manifold...well...downpipe of the manifold, anyway because of this ive decided rather than spend about 70-80quid on a new downpipe and fitting, as ive been quoted roughly, i might as well just buy a 4-2-1 manifold or somthing like tht.

So could someone recomend a make thats not stupidly expencive, and where to buy them cheap etc, so all suggestions welcome, also has anyone tryed the ones on ebay for 150quid id imagine they would be rubbish but you never know anyone tried them?

    Thanks.

The hole in your manifold won't be doing it any good mate, as for the one's on ebay there are normally some good one's on there.

if thats what ya like then fair do's lol id rather drive a scooby than a saxo sounding like a scooby just me though

you can always try the ebay ones and if unsuccessful, put it up for sale.

or...if you have plans for the sax (performance wise) then id spend that litle extra
