New engine and ECU

   ive just been told that the ECU is nackered on my car! (revs go up and down and idle is far to low)
   
   ive been thinking of getting carworx to do a conversion to a VTS anyway cus mines only a 1.0 at the moment, will they put a new ECU in or just change the software in mine?

   They have to put a new one in, if your desperate to sort thew problem a scrappy wouldn't charge too much for a 1.0l saxo ECU

   is a 1.0 the same as a 1.1?

   try brakers online m8! i got a loom for a vts of A1 motosports brakers! what they do is the search the contry for you and get u prices and delivery times!
   
   good cheap prices as well! hope this helps!
   also as AX said u would neet a new ecu to handle the 16v and the differnt injectors in the 1.6 unit!
   
   if you are going for a VTS conversion i reconmend u get uprated suspension and disks all round on your car!

   yes if you do nothing else please please do the brakes!.... I know from experience running a powerful engine on 1.1 brakes is suicide!... although I survived for 3 weeks while I was sorting out my ZX conversion lol (note ZX 2.0 brakes may not fit saxo's lol)

   theres a few 1.1 ECU's on ebay anyone know if these are the same as the 1.0litre ones?

   They wouldn't be far wrong tbh... providing the plugs fitment is the same

    obviously wait for someone else to confirm that as I know a 1.0i ax will run off the 1.1i ecu fine and vice versa but not 100% on saxos
