Im currently gathering all the parts needed for a turbo conversion on my 106 gti so far i have

Garrett T3 anti lag turbo fitted with forge actuator
    Manifold
    Downpipe with lambda input
    4x bosch beige 701 injectors
    Heat wrap
Uprated and smaller alterrnator to make more space for downpipe
bleed valve and vaccum pipe for in car boost control
    Boost and oil pressure gauges

    Bits to get:

    Big brake conversion
    Oil feed to turbo
    Decompression plate
    Intercooler and pipes
    Standalone ecu
    Uprated clutch

Anyone recomend any companies to get these parts etc and if i have missed anything if you could let me know it would be a great help.

    Thanks

when u say decompression plate are you jsut fittign two headgaskettes or you geting a proper metal spacer?

as for the intercoler get one off ebay, they have some good brand new imported ones sellign like hot cakes i have fitted a few now. also u may want to look into a bmw 5 series intercooler as it fits in the mouth of the front bumer

i was thinking about getting a proper metal decompression plate from farriday engineering they said it would be around £100. will i have to cut out the grill in the bumper in order to house the intercooler?
