lmao, its just untill the valve springs have settled. Should only take 5 miles max!

    lol !

I bet you're dying to cane it !

I've heard with these cams they need running in for about 10,000 miles! Whatever you do, don't go above 3500rpm until then.

    ...

eh? 10,000 miles to run in a cam?!!??!!

10,000 miles is a little extreme. How many miles does you engine have on it already? 200 should be engouh unless its dont 150,000 +

i thought it was 400-600 to be on the safe side. Its like when you get a mobile phone yoour meant to charge it for 24hrs, but who does. And theres only ever one person that has troubles with their battery. As if youve never left 3k.

heres a example say i got the cam fitted then it went straight onto a rolling road wich most garages do to set them up properlu afterwards do you think they run them in first and im pretty sure they will be seeing the limiter in this situation so i cant imagine they need running in really

they dont take long to run in. just keep the revs at about 2-3k for about 10 mins and it should be ok.

i just thrashed mine from the start

hahahaha LMFBO 10,000miles and don't go above 3,500rpm, so you gotta drive about 55mph on the motorway then? lol thats nonsense! take two mins if that!

I would think that 500ish miles is plenty if your low reving.

    AAAHAHAHAHAHA!

Of course you don't need to run it in for 10,000 miles! That's why I put lol at the start of my post.

The point is, the guy thinks he needs to run his cam in and has been taking it easy when no need to. I thought I'd just have a laugh and say 10,000 miles, didn't think anyone would think I was being serious!!!!!

Like most have said, you just hold the rev's high when its fitted adnd let the cam lube do the work....then just let the engine settle for a while then kick fuck out of it, like most...

But i did take mine easy for age just to be safe.lol
