1.1isx lowering...

   got 15s on the bad girl and does scrape sometime already when got fatties in the back of me car...
   
   looks like a monster truck though so need something done!
   
   with 15s how much should i be looking at lowerin it by? 40mm?

   you need to do the archwork on the rear of the car, then you can go down 60mm for looks, 40mm for ride or 50mm comprimise

   what do you mean by archwork? i've already had the arches hammered back on themselves at the top when it hits.

   what you mean you've had them hammered back? sounds like a bodge job to be honest.
   
   I have had the lip trimmed off of me and I have also had the rear quarter panel trimmed by about an inch where you cant see it underneath the bumpstrip.

   I have got 15's on mine and that is dropped 35mm!

   well my dad hammered the arches back on themselves with copper hammer, prob not best thing to do but hes only a mechanic not a body workshop or nothing.
   
   will get it lowered then and see about takin it somewhere proper to get archwork done.
   
   how much it cost you to get yours done or did ya do it yourself?

   well in total, I payed £280 for archwork.
   
   Had the arches trimme first for £90 a side, sprayed as well.
   Then had the rear quarters trimmed and sealed for £50 a side.
   
   
   best money I spent to be honest. The arches were acutally rubbing on my alloys and not my tyres and I had to get them resprayed

   yer the arches rub on my alloys when got the fatties in the back so that will be the problem. will seriously look into it next week cos got week off and gotta sort my car and life out!
