Im fitting lambo doors on my saxo some time next week but im wondering can i fit poppers aswell so that when the button is pressed the doors will automaticly open and go up.
Thanks

if you do make sure each door is separate or you will have problems when your at an indoor car park
i would have thought itd just pop open slightly though and then you have to push it up unless you get a kit that has a mechanism to make them go up

Yeah thats what i was hoping for just to press the button and the doors lift by themselves

separate kit then more than likely

no mate as Matt rightly said, you will have to buy a different hinge, one that is powered by something, like a small hydraulic (sp) which would push the door upwards and open it! this wont happen with standard lambo hinges!! post pics when its all done! oh and where did you get the kit from?

popers certainly wont lift the doors up. it will only pop them open. it will cost a lot to get the door to open upwards on their own. you would probly have to pay someone to custom make it for you and will cost an arm and leg

Yeah it is possible but as most people have said you're gonna need a mechanism to lift the doors rather than just a popper kit. There is a Chrysler Neon round my way that has lambos on the front and suicide doors on the back and they open at the touch of a button and the door lift up.

Cheers peeps i have booked my car in to a local garage that deals with customising cars and they have said they will be able to sort it so that the doors lift when you pop the doors. The down sides are its gonna take them a few weeks to do and its gonna cost me a fortune. (around £1000) I dont care though as long as it looks good.
Will post a vid of it when its all done.

You can buy the hindges off flea bay for £450 and they are made to fit the saxo so no welding. Im just having to get some others as im wanting the machanical doors that lift on there own (lazy really lol)
