80mm?

   is it possible ta get 80mm lowering springs for a furio or would ya have to get a set of 60mm and cut them?

   This all sounds like a bad idea but coilovers are the way forward if you really want to scrape along

   fuck sake dont cut springs mate, unless you want them to fall out the spring cups every time you go over a bump . 80mm is only possible with either coilovers or custom springs. oh and wave bye bye to any form of handling whatsoever, despite what others may say to the contrary.

   If your going to cut a set of 60mm springs, why bother with springs atall, just ride on the bumps stops.
   
   I just took my 60mm springs off and swapped them for 40mm ones. I cant imagine why you would want to go lower than 60mm at the front.
   
   I doubt it you will get 80mm springs and i wouldnt even consider chopping springs.

   Mine lokos just as nice now as it did before i think. Was about 70/80 before and now it looks about 50/50 (even though they are 40mm springs :sad):

   80mm?!? wtf are you thinking lad lol dont got any lower than 60mm, you will even struggle at 60mm in places, speed bumps are a bastard! im down 40mm all round and i get the odd scrape on my skirts if im not careful over speed bumps!

    50mm will look fine I reckon mate. 80mm is overkill, no it actually is Overkill lol!

    dont do it .. my mates is lowered 60mm n thats far too much..she has wholes in the bottom of her car from it.. and its not where she boots it over speedhumps

    just had mine lowered 60mm front 3 nothes on rear....guess its a bad idea thn? but i like the way it looks!

    notches....doh *slaps head in disbelief* i still cant believe that even after all the lowering threads on here people still have the rear lowered by notches. kiss goodbye to your axle bearings and say hello to having a car lowered more at one side than the other

    car looks the same both sides? i suppose it personal preference whether you use knotches or a tape measure if ur doing the job urself but i had my mate do it and he uses knotches so didnt have much of a choice!
