#2do you want it for looks or performance?
looks - 60mm if its performance you want then i'd say 35-40mm!! also depends on what size wheels you have matey! -
#3looks really, but must still handle well if you know what i mean. i know cituning do koni shocks and springs but ive heard they are not that good.
-
#4i keep gettin told spax do a good kit m8, im lowering mine 40mm and will be gettin 15's
-
#5hi mate i just lowered mine 60 mm all round on PI shocks and its sits nice and because the pi are a lil harder than others it still takes passengers and speed bumps easy.
-
#6how much did you pay for the kit? do you know what size alloys id be able to fit on a 60mm drop?
-
#715s are the best size for Saxo's imo.
-
#8if you lower more than about 35mm then you will find the suspension geometry is out of wack and the handling will suffer
-
#9i would have to dissagree mines 60mm all round and it handled great around silverstoneQuote:if you lower more than about 35mm then you will find the suspension geometry is out of wack and the handling will suffer

i would say 60mm looks the best and the handling is better than standerd in my eyes aswell -
#10meant to say on my other post that I've found the Eibach range to be pretty much spot on. Combine those with some Bilstein shocks and things will be good

Want to go the coilover route then save for some really good ones. Budget coilovers skimp on the component quality so you get height adjustment.
I use Leda 2 way adjustables.. handbuilt and pretty outstanding on the track (With Eibach ERS springs) -
#11silverstone is a very smooth track though and the effects are not as noticable. I've made changes to the hubs / wishbones on my 205 to correct the geometry after lowering and it has had a significant effect on the handling.

#1240mm is a good compromise
-
#13yeh id say 40-50 for looks and perfromance, i think spax do a 50mm kit if your interested.
-
#14i have my saxo lowerd 60mm at the front and about 80mm on the back, it looks the tits and handles ok, really bumpy ride, ask colsax lol, i will be raising mine to 40mm on the front and 50mm on the back.

#15My vtr has been dropped 50 on apex shocks and springs,
Looks superb and handles unreal. -
#16my set cost me 270 for springs and shocks 60 mm (PI) i had my standard rims and now run 15x8 wheels and its fine
-
#17think im goin to go 50mm at front and back or maybe a little lower at back, what is the best kit to go for? where could i get some pics of lowered cars to get an idea?
