  1. #1
    anybody got any pics of a VT lowered 80mm or 2 notches?

    mines 40mm and 1 notch but thinking about getting it done again
  2. #2
    I dont think two notches equates 80mm.
  3. #3
    dont do it by notches
  4. #4
    ye ye heard it all before about notches. and i thought that ets2k9 but according to the mechanic who lowered it for me he reckons its 40 per notch
  5. #5
    I think you should sack the notches off mate get the tape measure out and 80mm is stupidly low.
  6. #6
    80mm is too low..jus said this in another thread about 80mm.. it detroys the bottom of your car and its more then 2 notches
  7. #7
    20mm = 1 notch and nothches is the wrong way!
  8. #8
    notches is the wrong way but thats how mine was done and its ok.
    1 = 40mm
    2 = 60mm
    3 = 80mm
    and so on

    one notch is 40mm but 2 notches is 60mm? you do the maths......
    notches is inaccurate, and complete guesswork. the amount of threads/posts telling people this is just getting silly now. for christs sake someone write a sticky thread about it(Scott).

    i heard 1 notch was 25mm and 2 notches is 55mm... anyways mine was a pretty nice height around the arch, but now i got the vt kit on it looks alot higher as the arch doesnt run flat. so thinking about getting it done another notch. the guy said i wont have any probs. even said i could have bigger wheels and lower it again and still no probs.

    anybody got pics of 60mm then
  14. #14
    1 notch is more or less 20mm, not sure about 2 or 3 notches but i've measured 1 notch on a 106 and its 21mm. but i agree with Sean its only complete guess and is totally the wrong way to do it!

    Proper Way

    nah mates its 80mm rear and 55/60mm at the front

    I rather the flat arch to the vt archs but each to there own

    80mm at back. Handled like a turd.

    You find yourself picking longer routes that dont have speedbumps on.

    nice decals lol^^^^^^ looks sweet matey, but as you say it handles poorly and is a bastard when it comes to bumps in the road!
  18. #18

    And back up to 50/55mm.

    MUCH better handling, looks etc...
  19. #19
    As people have already mentioned, one notch is roughly 40mm

    Mine is down one notch, can't say I've had any problems with it

    This was it before

    and after

    Don't go down 80mm. You'll ruin the handling. Saxo's are higher at the back then the front for a reason. I dont think Citroen designed it that way for the hell of it

    I said this before but, is it not engine weight at the front that brings it down?

    2 notches sounds like bad news.
