more induction kits

    ive got a 1.1 east coast i was just wondering about a few points
    1. is there any point in getting one ?
    2.are there any decent ones on the performance side because i cant find any ?
    3. are they difficult to fit and should i consider a cold air feed ?

    buy a simota induction kit for a punto 1.2 8v....
    that will fit onto your saxo...
    mine breathes much better!!!

    If you want 1 purely for sound then i would suggest an open cone pipercross filter, they sound great.

    But i spose for improvements a panel filter would be recommended.

    your going to strugle for any performance gains pal with a 1.1.

    not sure if bmc make a kit for your car but thats the one to go for in terms of performance, but still your looking at only 3-5 bhp if your lucky. (dont belive anybody that tries to tell you they gain over 10bhp which ive had before)

    an open filter wont make it any quicker due to sucking hot air into the engine but will give it an 'induction roar' which can sound quite good on some cars.

    That looks great

    To be honest, I agree with the comments above, tuning a 1.0ltr is hard work but a airfilter and exhaust will not only allow the engine to breath abit better making the car feel abit more free reving plus give a nicer sound to the engine and exhaust note which will make you feel your going faster.

    And why not, everyone starts at the bottom, what you learn here you take on to the next car go for it.

    hmmm cheers guys REP FOR ALL hehe well yeh i got to start somewhere and for the turbo well i wud love to but i think it wud shake it self apart from the delivery.

    but tbh theres no point getting one buddy unless you want it for the sound, in which case do what andy said and get a piper X open air filter as they sound the nuts!!

    were you a 1.1 owner before you bought a vtr??
    everybody that have vt saxos are so smart about 1.1s, but never had one...dont get me wrong here!

    tbh matey, i think its more phsycological than anything! i always used to think that mine felt rapid when i put the piper x on it too mate
