Selling My Vtr, Any With The Money Was Thinkin Of Buying A Mk1 But Dont Want To Now, How Easy And Cheap Is It To Fit A Turbo, Few Of My Mates Are Real Good Mechanics, How Cheap And Easy Would It Be To Fit To Rallye Or Something Like That, Got To Keep Under Insurance Group 7 As Insurance Get To Expensive. I Want A Newish Car No Older Than 1999 And Was Just Wondering If Turbos Are Easy To Fit And Buy, Or Are They A Couple Of Thousand Pound Jobs!!

#3lol turbo kits alone, are about £2,500 and will need to be setup properly (dyno'd) you can do most of the work yourself, if you know what your doing! but its not a piece of piss to do by any means, the more you do yourself, the less you will have to pay for labour charges, to have it setup!

as if not you could always buy a spare engine and build that up with turbo/ancillaries over a period that wont hert the finances. that way you get more time to search and keep an eye out for bargain pieces. -
