   GMC are pricey any alternatives? Im down 40mm on Gmax springs at the mo, im thinking billies?? apparently these are good. what do you have?

   and billis are pricey. Mine were about 450 plus 200 for revalving. Glad I got them second hand

   pretty much the next best thing.
   have i read your getting a vts somewhere? if so id personally save extra for billies. you can spend a lot on engine mods but then you can have the bollox suspension for a lot less

    No no no not getting a VTS staying with VTR at the mo anyway GTi-R sounds even more fun but for now VTR will do. LOL
    
    so Koni are not bad either then are they alot cheaper!? i want a good set up no nonsence you know. she has done near on 130k on the original units.... do Koni do gass filled progessive damping kinda units like billies you know they adjust to the surface.... i.e stiffer the more bumps there are!

    koni are good, i have the kit which was about £270, you may find a bit cheaper though. there gas filled, and im sure there quite like the billies. just depends what exactly you want. gmcs billie shocks are more uprated for track driving compared to the konies though, just depends how much you wanna spend, how long your gonna keep them i suppose

    i have koni dampers with GMC springs, i have no complaints with them, seem pretty good to me. had the 30mm koni springs before but car sat too high so changed to GMC.

    ok so koni seem2b an alrnative also. il have a shop aroun and se wots wot. not fussed bout ride qulity just wat 2handle like the mutts nuts. lol. i

    I have the koni setup on my VTR. springs and dampers and its hadles very nicely and looks good as well.
    
    Good price and from what i can gather they are the next best thing to the gmc setup
    
    mines down 35mm all round and looks very subtle, not over the top. looks almost factory but very nice
