   OK, i couldnt resist.
   
   My old knob was starting to show some signs of wear so i decided to splash out a little n get a new one
   
   Just fitted it, well chuffed lol. I know most of u think this kinda thing is cheap tack but iv never owned an LED gearknob before lol, so its all part of the experience
   
   
   I was acctually well impressed with the amount of kit u get for ur £15!
   
   
   Nice healthy glow
   
   
   Fitted in the car. Old knob in the bin!
   
   Quick run down. Red LED (obv) the top of it is a button to click through its 3 states. OFF, Flashing, ON. Had to file down the white plastic and flatten off the top of it but it fits nice n snug now. Choice of red or blue before purchasing but 2 shift patterns are supplied. various different sized screws and caps to fit almost any car.
   
   Anyone else got nething fancy in the way of gear knobs?

    can i ask.. how is a GEAR KNOB great? all it does is change the gear.. in what way is it better than a standard one? lol

    Wish i had never changed my standard gear knob. The "ripspeed" item I currently have, well, it's ghey.
    
    I strangly like the knob Mystic... Sadly, it's the sort of thing you could expect on an SLR, or Zonda.

    direct fitment if you still have the white plastic sleeve, there is some going on ebay atm, think someone said around £12, if you look on the wanted section in the parts, there is a thread about someone wanting a MK2 VTR gear knob and someone said the price of one direct from Pug in there

    My last VTS had one of those solid metal knobs which i quite liked. But it got hacksawed off overnight at the scene of me crash
    
    The knob that came with the car was losing its paint around the sides and looked like the top had been hand painted with silver tip-ex. Quite like the pug GTi one but everyone has them these days

    i have the citroen sport gear knob. very cold in the winter tho when you first get in and very hot in the summer.

    C2 vts is they are very nice to use as they are slightly slanted so its a "nice hold nob" sorry i mean knob
    
    and they fit stright on pretty much but cost abou £30 from citroen

    Yeh i quite like the look of the c2 knob there too, i just fancied something that lit up, nothing too fancy though. Im pleased with the one i got
