removing side bump strips (1.1sx)

   has anyone removed the side bump strips from a 1.1 completely and left them off?, if so got any pics?

   just pull them off matey. I'm thinking of removing mine (going for a euro look), however you have the small holes that the clips hold them on with in the panels.
   
   They would need to be welded over and smoothed out.

   yeh ive seen that there will be alot of holes, just wondered if anyone had succecfully removed them and smoothed every thing over
