£40 for a torsion bar lowered the right way, taken out and messured, that sound fair enough?

Also, what are these like, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=020

    Thanks.

Yes... that does sound good. Too good infact. I hope you get that price confirmed in writing because until they look at the condition of the torsion bar, the price will start to increase dramatically. I myself can't see how they can give a price before looking at it... or have they looked at it?

You should be able to get some other (more recognised makes) for around that price though. Ebay is meant to be cheap(ish). That price sounds like a normal retail price.

It's my brothers friend. Said it's usually £60 but he'll do it for that. I hope it's not a bigger job than he expected but I think he knows it will be.

40quid sounds like a bargain! Or sounds like some1 who hasn't done it before having a random guess at how much it will cost!!! i paid 80quid for mine and that was cheapest round my area!!

I was going to be charged £40 for the front to be lowered, and the rear would depend on how big of a job. If its proper seized then obviously £15-20 per hour it takes. My mechanic actually knows what hes going on about lol! It was just my mother getting the message wrong (: (for those who read one of my threads).

£40 sounds a good price tho!
