VW washer jets

i'm fed up of my washer jets. its quite simple really!

i've noticed on my parents golf and my girlfriends beetle, that instead of a small squirt of water (like on the saxo), there is a really wide spray that covers every point of the window and helps to clean the window better.

does anybody know how these work and if it would be possible to fit to a saxo?

ide imagine that they would fit easily providing that the water hose going to the washers fit, so yeh i shouldnt see why not but dont take my word for it just try it if it doesnt work just put the saxos back on

probly if they would sit right etc, bit of a pointless mod but if you want to have a go have a go just depends how they will sit

i dont think its a pointless mod if it washes the window better. anything to make anything better

i've been told they are 'digital' although i'm not sure exactly what can be digital about washer jets.

i understand how i can swap them over, its the question of whether or not they create the same spray as on a VW.

i guess i'll have to pick some up from a scrappy and give them a whirl

Just buy some Citroen Saxo mk2 jets or ones off any new citroen. They spray a wide spray as opposed to a few small jets of water.

They should cost you about £3 tops!

why not try the mk2 washer jets, they spray wide like the golf ones.

I had a mk2 and the spray was nice and wide, good coverage. My mk1's are pretty poor compared

Basically it sprays in a cone shape kinda thing so it covers a wide margin of the screen I find them good!.
