Standard exhaust question

   need to replace my rear box and really wanted to just go for a standard replacement.
   
   was quoted today £120 fitted by local tyre/exhaust center and thought that sounded dear! (only paid £30 for my cavalier)
   
   is this the going rate or can i get cheaper?

   I couldn't get much cheaper than mate but I picked one up 2nd hand for £60.
   
   Keep your eye on the forums, I know theres one on Ebay at the moment.

   just for the rear box? you can get them from eurocarparts for about 40-50 iirc

   if they are that sort of money then i would think i could get an aftermarket one for around that or not much more?

   they did tell me there was a cheaper option but i wanted the one with the chrome end piece.
   
   Thats the sort of money that i would exspect to pay from citroen direct!

   Give citroen a car mate but make sure you have something soft to land one when they tell you the price.

   so for a non genuine part that £120 just for the back box was dear then, you reckon i can get a complete system for that?
