Disconnecting Calipers

    Is it a case of, disconecting, letting oil piss out, and Refilling Brake fluid in egine bay?

    Not quite, they will have to be bleed properly after as well

    and you dont have to let the fluid piss out

    get a brake hose clamp to stop loads of fluid pissing out

    and as scott says need bleeding properly after wards

    it will just drip, not piss.

    put cling film under fuild resivoir cap aswell, makes a sort of vacum.

    Why are you disconnecting the calipers? changing hoses? or replacing calipers?

    You can stop fluid from leaking as mentioned above... Cling film under reservoir cap before tightening back on will pretty much stop gravity drainage.

    You can also crimp the flexible brake hose using a clamp or mole-grips, or lock-pliers.

    When you re-fit the caliper you will need to bleed the system...
