Saxo kits to 1.1i

Heya if anyone can help me would be appreciated, basicly i grabbed a saxo 1.1i and as im sure u know its got a flat back so i brought sum arches wich look gr8 and know i want a kit but im being told that the vtr models hav a wider back and front so any kit i have wont fit without alot of chopping please help?????

whih arches did you get? do you have a picture? If you got the geniuine archesfrom another VTR/S then its good news. If you didn't then still shouldn't be too bad.

What do you mean by flat back? Most bumpers are designed to fit the VTR/S models so the bumpers are slightly wider where they meet the arches, which should still be ok with your arches.

Thats pretty much the only difference. One option is to get the entire VTR/S kit from a breakers and get it fitted to your base model. This will include 4 arches, bumpers, sideskirts and door trim and panels.

Or there are kits designed for the 1.1i base models.

Although the kit may not look that great, if you add some proper rmis and decent looking exhaust it could look a lot better

yep, just add rims, exhaust,lexus rear lights,and tints and it will look pretty sweet.

think it was 400 or 450 somewhere. Is advertised in most car mags. There's not really any other kits that look any good.

I ment my saxo has got a flat black arch like the one in the pic but i brought some arches that just stick on over the top and make it look like the vtr arches so i think im gonna get that cliche kit if anyone sees it anywhere please tell me thanx loads at least im not stuck with normal bumpers,dont 4get it u know where to get that kit let me know thanx again

yeah its actually £349!!! which i think is great.

Autotintdesign advertise it in a mag but its not no their website. 0113 2891500 is their mail order number.

Or abstyling have it on their site where u can buy it for the same price.Cliche kit

ive not got any pics at hand but if you just go to styling and look at arches they are on there except i think mine are a little bigger but it might just be the angle still go have a look and see

yeh mine are still wrapped up in cellafane cus just gonna put them on once i get a kit and yeh i would recomend them ive hadf the same thoughts cus they do lokk a little strange,it depends on ur alloys i think if ur going big then you will hav to put vtr arches on any way so i wouldnt buy them but if your goin small then i would say yeh im going for about 16 cus ive already brought the arches before knowing that bit of info!!

But the front one looks ok

Is just a case of getting rid of that trim that goes under it it think

i'm in the same boat with the arches and all, but i don't like the look of these pics, im just gonna go for the whole vtr/s body kit, like the 1 that was on e-bay.

yeah they are nice, the whole kit fits a 1.1 as far as i know because the bumpers will obviously fit as do the arches as the original VT arches have to be removed if you have them. Only part im not sure about is the side skirts as they may fit on the original VT skirts. Anyone know?

Sorry, I didnt come to that part for now. Still trying to decide should I order this weel arches and how to get rid of that trim that goes under it in the back.

well all i know is that these kits fit all saxos

does any1 know of any other kits except the VT one and these that can go on a standard 3dr saxo??
