   Hi newbie here mother in laws 1998 saxo diesel has just given up engine not repairable where is the best place to get a new one and what sort of price many thanks

   scrap yards, ebay, don't think there will many many diesel engines about though....mainly just VTR and S engines

   there will be more diesels about -never seen an engine not repairable - ithin you mean an uneconomic repair -- but don,t think you will get a diesel angine as cheap as a petrol one---why is it unrepairable?

   water seized and caused a right mess about £800 repair
