id go 195! im looking for some too to fit on the 14 inch gti alloys iv got on the vts. im gonna go 195/50/14's as you got more tyre on the road and have a smaller profile so will lower the centre of gravity more and all round will handle better!

ok next question is who makes 195 -50 - 14!??? and a price!??
  10. #10
Ok just called the tyre ppl, Falkon do a 195 - 50 - 14. £39 *4, plus tracking as the left toes in alot more than the right.... next question... tracking! i usually have mine set up to toe in slightly. How is it best set up for best handling!?
  11. #11
will 195 catch on full lock!??
  12. #12
no 195 wont catch mate. 205's only just catch! i had some 205/45/17's on when i first got the saxo and they just caught when i was lowered 40mm
  13. #13
remember they are not spaced tho! standard fitment! can i fit 205 50 14s!!??????????? seriously?!

thats good. yeah 195 fit well apparently will 45 on 14s look silly!???

personally i would have thought that with 45's it would make the wheels look really small in the arches. would probly harden the ride aswell. id stick with the manufactures choice because they've designed it to work that way.

    michalin class

yer they haveesigned it that way for a standard car not a lowered car. when your car is lowered you need ideally smaller profile tyres so that there is less flex and it turns harder.

as for the 205's on the 14's id check because you may need a wider alloy but im sure that the 205's wont rub. and even if they do rub slightly you just hammer the arch where its rubbing with the round end of a hammer. and make sure you touch up where you have revealed bare metal to prevent rust.
