How do I go abouts doing it, atm its a shiny flat black (how it is delivered)
do i rub it down, primer it, rattle can it and laquer it?

or is there a place I could take it too or?

Personally i would take it to a pro, or at least someone who has had a lot of experience doing it.

I doubt you will get the finish you want by doing it yourself with rattle cans. It shouldn't cost too much either as its only small

yeh, u could use ur old grill as a tester and try it on that first, take it off, sand it down a bit and spray, primer before if u think u need it.i used plasticote black paint on mine, came up great because its got a shiny finish, took me 30 mins, 2 coats, i done this on my standard grill and meshed it at the same time, but i didnt sand it down and its fine mate. good luck.
