Had a bit of a brown pant moment last night

Hmm... i was driving along as you do and was approaching a roundabout so slowed as you do, the roads were wet as it was raining all day so was going about 15-20mph ish as it was empty and went straight across and as i went to straighten the car it just slid from under me, managed to correct it straightaway...

now i use this road/roundabout all the time and have went along it in the wet and dry faster and this has never happened, even in icy or snowy weather its not that big a bend

So after that moment was heading towards the A1 and theres another bend a gradual bend no like a 90degree angle lol

slowed again to about 15-20 same thing happened again...but this time police car was not far behind and it took a few more seconds to correct as the car went more sideways....

got pulled over he was convinced i was pissed i said no im not, you were behind me so you know i wasn't speeding, the other police woman was like yeah you're right you weren't, so thy decided it must have been oil or something and let me on my way. Needless to say I was shitting my pants, that has never happened before..

Any ideas what it is thats broke?

As my tyres are fine they are pilots, and i have an upper/lower struts on lowered 40mm

but the other week I went over a speedbump and heard a massive bang from the passenger side front area...and now when i turn the wheel i get a knock, turn it back and i get another knock

Were you braking when you slid.. or just cornering?

a lot of aquaplaining lately from the wet has nothing to do with the car or the way you drive it just a thing that happens
