Depends what you intend to use the car for.

The spax kits are a popular choice offering decent performance for your buck.

More expensive kits like Koni and Bilstein are preferred if you have a bigger budget and have track use in mind.

I'm sure theres a suspension guide kicking around somewhere too, might have to have a little search for it

As sam has said though, u will struggle to find a kit this side of xmas!

You don't "need" a kit if you're only going down 40mm.

If you do look at getting the VSX kit, you'll find that they haven't got the correct shocks/dampers so they "might" throw in the shocks/dampers from the PSX kit for free

I ordered the VSX kit and was told they won't be available till Jan 07. So rang them back and oredered the PSX which they have in stock:Y:

How much was the PSX kit?

Bilstein all the way if you ask me!

Are Bilstein really that much better than Koni?

I've been thinkin about goin Koni for a couple weeks now but the billies are only an extra £10 per damper.

Compared to my GMAX on the Saxo,
    my Bilsteins are amazing.

Probably my best mod so far.

spax kits are garbage imo, not that much better than standard. billies are the way to go, they're the only ones as far as i'm aware which are genuinely shorter than standard which is vital when lowering otherwise your shocks will bottom out all over the place.

    Cheers for all replies!

Phoned up few companies yesterday to see what the crack was with the spax VSX kit, they all said would nt get it till end of january so asked if i would any discount for waiting so long and they offerd £20 off, so said get back to them. Then i rang up another company and asked if could do any deal with me having to wait so long, they eventually offerd me £50 off the VSX kit or could get the PSX kit with £50 off so decided to go for the PSX kit.

So just a waintg game now (5-7 days to be precise)
