most kits dont come precoloured and u will have to get them sprayed

for a 1.1 you can put 14" wheels with no mods but if you put 15" you need the arches cut or rolled and the bigger you get the more work you need!

The body kits you will need to find somewhere that will paint and fit them as they come prepared for paint but that is all.

    Hope it helps

    cheers for the advice all
got sum nice 17"s to get from a friend but i suppose that wil mean lots of work, how much money are we talkin for the arches to be dun ??

yeah guessing it will take a reasonable amount of work on them... rember that u need to also consider the width of the alloy etc.

As for getting the work done phone round a few garages and maybe try a body shop

to fit my 15" it cost me about £80 to roll them but if you want 17"s on it we will be talking quite a fair bit, including the vt arches you need to add on to cover up the arches being cut!

damn that sounds like a fair old bit, oh well anything for my baby, i will probably see how much 16" will cost me brand new and the charge for the work and then weigh that up against buying my mates 17"s from him and the work needed to do for that, a difficult choice

    cheers for the info

well the lip is only a minor bit of DIY work. I have 15's on my 1.1i and there is only rubbing when i have more than 3 ppl in the car so you can manage. I will be trimming the arch soon for when i get it lowered.

Hi I lowered my 1.1 phase 2 myself, the fronts are a piece of piss but the torsion bar was a pig, its not nice doing that to a 6 mnth old motor!!!
Anyway i bought some 2nd hand 14" vtrs to stick on for the time being and that lip at the back needs trimming a bit nothing major!
As for the kit mate I went to kingdom in newark last week, there kit is just shy of a grand+paint, but its a love or hate one, he also gave me a quote for about £300ish to fit 17`s to a 1.1, thats with new vt? arches!
