ITs far cheaper than turboing a VTS, with that in mind though you wont see the same sort of power a turb ocan give you.

Cams will cost between £350 and £500 new, depoending on what kind you go for. My choice would be catcam708s, but kentcam pt51's are another popular choice.

Once your cams are fitted you wont see much (if anything atall) performance wise untill you have the ECU remapped. The best place i know of to have this done is by a guy called Wayne at Chipwizards. It costs about £450.

Provided youv done all your breather mods you should see 150bhp or more from that.

If you feel up2 it theres a Guide which shows how to fit performance cams yourself (you wil still need to have them mapped properly though)

yes there are s/c kits avaailble --but any good turbo or s/c set-up will cost 4-5k+ for a reliable set-up that will give mega power

Thats some really good advice there, the thing is IMO Id only start to look at cams and other head work once the rest of the car was well sorted ie good brakes, good suspension as long as these things are well upto handling that extra bit of power cos if youve got it . . . your use it! then go ahead.

Have a good look around and do your homework on which cams are best for your style of drivin then like mentioned above you still have to have the mappin done
