Exhaust pop backs..

    Hi, i while ago i bought a milltek sports perforance exhaust for my saxo its a dual output one with milltek stamped on both the 4" pipes..

    well the question i have is.. its made for a VTS/VTR saxo.. but i stuck it on my 1.1i, it sounds great IMO and the thing i was wondering is.. the exhaust always pops back very loudly when i slow down and speedup etc.. especially in first when pulling away. and i like it lots. i was wondering has this to do with the engine or the exhauts or the air filter.. becuase i am going to be changing my engine soon and i was wondering if it will still pop back. because i will be disapoinmted if it doesnt..

    any advice would be appriciated.. thanks

    yeah should do its all down to the decat

    Happens in mine to bud, think it occurs when the decat is removed.
    Once the engine is warm it normally pops when dropping down the gears.

    Nah as long as you keep the cat bypass pipe on it then it will still occur
    when you get the new engine.

    if i get lets says VTS from my 1.1i would it perhaps sonds better? lol i love my milltek exhaust lol

    mine just permanantly pops when i slow down in first its liek guy fawks night no joke :| lol

    Yea doubt there will be any change from a different engine.
    Slapping a Turbo kit onto it though mate make the exhaust do more
    exciting things perhaps.

    ye ri have heard that i heard it would pop back sparks/flames lol that wouldk be awesome on my dual one.. might think about turbo when i get engine conversion.. thanks for advice.

    Its just unburnt fuel mate. Mine spits and farts a little, and ive got a manifold and super sprint centre section and standard back box.

    you cant get a turbo from Halfords that takes up 20 mins to fit mate, if your wanting flames just get a flamer kit and watch your eyebrows.

    i am aware of that, turbo kits cost thosands, which i have saved up and i might consider getting one installed by a friend who has installed many turbo systems..

    A 1.1 Saxo with a VTS Turbo would be crazy lol.
    Give Greensaxo something to worry about (has a VTS engine in a basic shape
    saxo)

    nah its not the 1.1i kit its with vtr kit..

    ims just waiting for my axle and strusts to get sorted now..

    its been de wipered now and the boot has a boot pop waiting fo rthe boot smoothed, what u mean mk2 rear lights these are clear ones.. ?

    put some stickers and some go faster stripes. it will make big bangs and sound better then.

    my 1.1 pops all the time in first and if i hold it in gear and slow down it pops alot.

    K, im gunna record a one on sat or sunday, my milltek poping back lots and just its overhall sound, which i think rules for a 1.1i...
