Rolling back arches..

    Hi, tomorow i am going to be cutting my arches back in preperation for some 17's.. i was just wondering if anyone has any special tips for it.. because i am in a bit of a sticky situation as i bonded my arches on.. not thinking i would need 17's... but now i do.. it was Right bitch lining the arches up cas this ws on my 1.1i so i would rather not take them off s i am going to attempt to cut the arches wiht the arches still on lol.. just wondering how far i need to cut aswell...

    Use a grinder, you can buy a grinding attachment for a standard electric drill. Much easier tha cutting and smoother. Have the whole rear car on axle stands with rear wheels off. Go as far as you can I'd say, upto the curve, that's what I done on 15s

    Don't do a thing until you buy or borrow a MAX power haynes saxo manual.

    There is a guide in there that tells you exactly what you need to do. There is a lot more work involved than just grinding back the arches - I know!

    agreed with Saxo180 (found out the hard way?), for £20 for a manual you might aswell do that and some some time and money
