    Hay people!

Before I start I want you all to know, I have searched and it didn’t turn up much!

Now that my car passed the MOT today, I am going to order 15" alloys with 45 profile tyres.

I will also be ordering my lowering kit!

Now here comes the problem! I would like it lowered by 50mm using this kit: http://www.potn.co.uk/-_c1473_3201_4...8_p1255622.htm

Other than moving the Power steering pump will I have to do any thing else?

Do you think I will get rubbing?

If I use this kit it will look lower all the way round, so I won’t have to lower the torsion bar???

And any other advice or hints and tips would be great!

all you have todo is bend the pipe out of the way

im 50mm and on same size wheels and tyres and im ok

you will need to adjust the torsion bar thats the only way to lower them

You might notice your bumperstops and bushes wearing away quicker also.
Does'nt need to be done straight away but I recommend keeping ontop of it.

When you lower a saxo your given a set of front springs and also the front and
    rear dampers.
Fitting the dampers wont lower the car, the springs actually lower the height
of the front and the torsion bar being adjusted is what lowers the back.

Dampers just provide a stiffer ride to suite the ride height.

As for the rubbing, I had 15s on my VTR and 45 profiles they rub on full lock a little you may have to get some of the arch taken out but not that much.

I had to lose the inner arch liners on me VTR but that stopped the problem with full lock.

As for the lowering advice Rushy pretty much covered that the torsion bar needs adjusting in order to lower the back, and in my adive after having both me VTR and S lowered I would advise 10mm lower on the rear this helps to stop the back end twitching, but thats my opinion up to you. If you need any more help let me know
