well yeah its not for my saxo btw just brought a new toy! lol and i wanna strip it down and re do it all as if it was new again

90k is nothing, mine hit 120k before it starting making weird noises. just buy a new engine or 16v it.
edit- hahaha just read it isnt a saxo. replace oil pump, water pump, belts and gaskets. look at one of the parts sites for prices, then contact a garage for labour charges, or do it yourself

u dont think i'll have to have it rebored? is it not best to change cambelt etc?
EDIT [ive just realised u sed belts sorry....]

i would only rebore it and fit new pistons if it's a turbo. if not then i'd leave it

oh ok then nah its not.. how hard is it to do the gaskets?

if you have knowledge of setting the engine timing (ie changing the belt) and you have the torque settings for the head etc then it's just nuts and bolts at the end of the day. if you're not 100% confident then pay someone to do it.
