gti 180 brake conversion?

   I’m sorting out a conversion for the Paxo would it be best to go for the vented or none vented discs as they apparently have different size callipers.
   
   Does anyone know anything about this or does it not matter in the slightest?

   Get GTI-6 ones. They are better. Or 4 pots. Stop being a tight twat and blow some proper cash on brakes, they are vital to you not dying

   Vented are inherently better, though not sure what difference it makes on the GTI. 285mm are the diametre IIRC

   They are 285mm’s and GTI 6’s aren’t in such common supply hence the 180 option.
   
   I agree brakes are vital but I feel the 180 upgrade suits my needs and budget.

   then got some vts wheels an now wish i'd got the GTi-6 brakes

   how are gti6 brakes better than gti180? same size calipers and discs.
   you need vented discs for these brakes.

   Going by my favourite Pug garage, which has used both a GTI-6 and a GTI-180 to compete in the 'ring 24 hours. I thought the piston was bigger on the GTI-6 ones?
