when i start the car from cold, the revs sail to just below 3000 rpm. This continues when driving and is becoming a real pain at traffic lights etc. It stops when the car heats up though?
any diagnosis?

Mine does it aswell, It does calm down after a while, Last time a started trned it off then started it up agen and it was alright. I have also left the handbrake on put it in gear and lightly let up the clutch to drop the revs that did it on mine. It also spits when its cold and is rev'd only when its first started and cold though.
