    Can't go wrong with a B&M.

I have one in my car and when I drive the gf's car now the gearbox feels like I'm stirring porridge!

surely therr wouldnt be much difference from the one on ebay though would there? dont they do the saem thing just paying for the name?
  8. #8
how much do the b&m ones increase accelartion? is it a worth while thing to do?
  9. #9
Theres already a good thread on here somewhere about quickshifts.

it doesnt increase the acceleration it just makes the gears shorter so u change gear alot quicker

The length of shift reduces quite a lot so yuo can change gear a bit quicker. Might make 1/2 a sec improvement to 60 if you're lucky.

The main thing is they feel so much more solid than the standard

would that first one off ebay do the job then? no point splashing out £110 when you can get something that does same job for £50 what you think

Not sure about that ebay one! I've always been a firm believer of you get what you pay for!

The B&M is tried and tested and the ebay jobbie only looks like half a kit!

I couldnt justify spending over 100 quid on a shaft of metal ( B and m)

I have a compbrake one, like the GMC.

Nice bit of kit, good feel and quality. Proper engineering.
